1. Delivery Expectations & Timelines

  • Standard Delivery: You can expect most packages to be delivered within 10 to 14 business days.

  • Processing Window: We process your order within 24 business hours after receipt of full payment.

  • Handling Time: To ensure quality and safety, all major mechanical components (Engines, Transmissions, Axles) undergo a rigorous final inspection, fluid drainage, and industrial crating process. Items typically leave our facilities within 5 to 7 business days after processing.

  • Tracking: Tracking information will be emailed 24 to 48 hours after your item has physically departed our facility. Please check your spam/junk folders for communications from support@precisionautopartsgroup.com.

  • Delays: Orders may be delayed if information is missing (such as a missing phone number for freight). We will email you within 48 hours if additional details are required.

2. Shipping Methods & Radius Restrictions

  • Carrier Selection: We use carefully selected commercial carriers. Customers are not permitted to arrange their own shipping.

  • Handling Fees: A handling fee is included in your shipping charge. This covers specialized industrial packaging materials (pallets, straps, shrink-wrap) required to ensure safe arrival.

  • Shipping Radius: We ship to the Lower 48 States. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada is available; however, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, export duties, and taxes. These costs are strictly non-refundable.

  • P.O. Boxes: We cannot ship to Post Office boxes or APO addresses. A physical address is required.

3. LTL Freight & Large Item Delivery

For large items (Engines, Transmissions, Seats, Bumpers, Tires, Axles), the following rules apply:

  • Preparation: Items are banded to 4x4 or 6x6 pallets and professionally wrapped.

  • Commercial Address: We strongly recommend shipping to a commercial business address equipped with a loading dock or forklift.

  • Terminal Pickup: If no commercial address is available, we can ship to the closest freight terminal to your ZIP code for pickup.

  • Residential & Liftgate Delivery: For an additional $75 - $150 charge, we will ship to a residence using a liftgate.

  • Curb-Side Only: Deliveries are unloaded at the curb only. Drivers are not authorized to move freight into garages, driveways, or buildings.

  • Unloading Responsibility: The trucking company is not responsible for unloading items from the truck or carrying parts into your building. We recommend having a forklift or extra help available.

  • Financial Liability: Any additional fees (re-delivery, storage, or specialized equipment) are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Collection of Dues: Failure to settle outstanding shipping balances will result in the immediate and permanent voiding of the Part Warranty.

4. Mandatory Inspection & Liability Release

IMPORTANT: Your signature on the delivery receipt is a binding legal acknowledgment that the part was received in good condition.

  • Immediate Inspection: You must remove all packaging and inspect the contents for damage before the driver leaves.

  • Notating Damage: If damage is found, you MUST write "DAMAGED" on the driver’s Bill of Lading (BOL).

  • 24-Hour Rule: Any shipping damage must be reported with photo evidence to support@precisionautopartsgroup.com within 24 hours.

  • Release of Liability: Signing the delivery receipt without a "Damage" notation releases Precision Auto Parts Group and the carrier from all liability. We cannot honor claims for "concealed damage" reported after a clean signature is given.

5. Hazardous Materials (Airbags)

  • Hazmat Regulations: Airbags are hazardous materials and require specialized packaging and carriers.

  • New York State Law: Due to state law, we cannot ship airbags to residents of the State of New York.

  • Geographic Restrictions: Airbags cannot be shipped outside the continental United States. No air shipments are allowed.

6. Color Match & Paint Disclaimer

  • Used OEM Parts: We sell used parts with varying color shadings due to age and wear. We cannot guarantee an accurate color match.

  • Alterations: We recommend consulting a painting professional. We do not accept returns for parts that have been painted or modified after purchase.

7. Free Shipping Terms

  • Threshold: Free standard ground shipping applies only to orders over $300 within the continental US.

  • Exclusions: Free shipping strictly excludes wheels, transmissions, axles, engines, and any product that ships via freight (LTL).

  • Returns: Precision Auto Parts Group is not responsible for return shipping costs under any circumstances.
