IMPORTANT NOTICE

This Steering & Suspension Components Warranty Policy forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of Precision Auto Parts Group LLC (“PAS”). By purchasing, installing, or using any steering or suspension component supplied by PAS, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this policy.

This policy applies to all steering and suspension-related components including but not limited to rack and pinion assemblies, steering gearboxes, control arms, and other associated mechanical components.

STEERING & SUSPENSION COMPONENT WARRANTY

All steering and suspension components supplied by PAS are used OEM or reconditioned units that have been inspected for basic structural and functional integrity prior to shipment.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, for private, non-commercial use, and only to the vehicle in which the component is installed. This warranty is non-transferable.

Warranty coverage applies strictly to the core structural and internal functional integrity of the component and is valid for the duration specified on the invoice, beginning from the date of delivery.

PAS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to repair, replace, or provide an equivalent unit in the event of an approved claim.

This policy includes, but is not limited to:

  • Rack and Pinion Assemblies

MECHANICAL PARTS WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover failures resulting from external conditions, wear, or improper usage, including but not limited to improper installation, alignment issues, worn suspension parts, damaged bushings, failed ball joints, or failure of related vehicle components.

Failures that are not directly attributable to a structural or internal defect of the supplied component will not be considered under warranty.

COVERED COMPONENTS (STRUCTURAL / INTERNAL ONLY)

Warranty coverage applies strictly to the main structural body and internal functional components of the part.

Wear-and-tear items such as bushings, seals, boots, ball joints, tie rod ends, mounting hardware, and related components are not covered under warranty and must be inspected and replaced by the installer as required.

Wheel alignment must be performed where applicable after installation. Failure to properly align the vehicle or address worn suspension components may result in premature wear, noise, or failure, which is not covered under warranty.

IMPORTANT WARNING

Steering and suspension components are directly affected by vehicle condition, alignment, and road conditions. Improper installation or failure to address related issues may result in unsafe driving conditions and premature failure.

PAS shall not be responsible for failures caused by misalignment, worn components, or improper installation.

IN THE EVENT OF A FAILURE (CRITICAL REQUIREMENT)

Under no circumstances should the component be opened, modified, or disassembled without prior written authorization from PAS.

The customer must contact PAS immediately upon discovery of any issue. Unauthorized actions will result in immediate voidance of warranty.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST (MANDATORY COMPLETION REQUIRED)

The installer must ensure proper fitment, secure mounting, inspection of all related components, and completion of required alignment procedures where applicable.

All decisions made by PAS shall be final.

IN THE EVENT OF FAILURE

The customer must take all reasonable steps to prevent further damage and must provide all required documentation, including installation records and diagnostic reports.
