IMPORTANT NOTICE
This Turbocharger Warranty Policy forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of Precision Auto Parts Group LLC (“PAS”). By purchasing, installing, or using any turbocharger supplied by PAS, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this policy.
This policy governs product condition, installation requirements, warranty coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, and dispute resolution.
RECYCLED TURBOCHARGER WARRANTY
All turbochargers supplied by PAS are used OEM or reconditioned units that have been inspected for basic functional integrity prior to shipment.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, for private, non-commercial use, and only for the vehicle in which the turbocharger is installed. This warranty is non-transferable.
Warranty coverage applies strictly to internal rotating and lubricated components and is valid for the duration specified on the invoice.
PAS reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide an equivalent unit at its sole discretion.
MECHANICAL PARTS WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover failures caused by external or system-related issues, including:

Oil starvation or improper lubrication

Contaminated oil or debris in oil lines

Failure to clean or replace oil feed/return lines
-
Improper installation or priming
-
Overboost, tuning issues, or misuse
-
Air intake or exhaust restrictions
-
Foreign object damage
COVERED COMPONENTS (INTERNAL TURBOCHARGER ONLY)
Coverage applies strictly to internal components including:

Turbine wheel
-
Compressor wheel
-
Shaft assembly
-
Bearings and internal lubricated parts
WARRANTY VALIDATION REQUIREMENTS
To maintain warranty eligibility:

Installation must be completed within 10 days of delivery
-
Installation must be performed by a qualified technician
-
Installation documentation must be submitted within 10 days
-
Proper installation procedures must be followed
-
The root cause of original failure must be corrected
Failure to comply will result in void warranty.
NON-COVERED ACCESSORIES (PROVIDED FOR CONVENIENCE ONLY)
The turbocharger may include attached components not covered under warranty, including:

Actuators
-
Sensors
-
Boost control components
-
Lines, hoses, clamps
IMPORTANT WARNING
Turbochargers are highly sensitive to oil quality and system cleanliness. Even minor contamination or improper oil supply can cause immediate failure.
PAS is not responsible for failures caused by improper oil supply, contamination, or system neglect.
IN THE EVENT OF A FAILURE (CRITICAL REQUIREMENT)
Do not remove, open, or disassemble the turbocharger without prior written authorization.
Immediate contact with PAS is required upon issue detection. Unauthorized action will void warranty.
TURBOCHARGER REQUIRED INSTALLATION CHECKLIST
PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLATION
Proper installation is critical due to the high-speed rotating nature of turbochargers.
WARRANTY VALIDATION REQUIREMENT (CRITICAL CONDITION)
Warranty is valid only if all installation procedures are properly completed and documented.
INSTALLATION CHECKLIST (MANDATORY COMPLETION REQUIRED)
Installer must:

Identify and correct root cause of failure

Clean or replace oil feed and return lines

Flush or replace contaminated systems

Prime turbo with clean oil before startup

Replace oil and filter

Inspect air intake and exhaust systems

Ensure proper boost pressure and airflow
COMMON CAUSES OF FAILURE (NOT COVERED)

Oil contamination or blockage

Lack of lubrication

Foreign object damage

Improper installation

Overboost or tuning issues
WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS
Warranty is void if:

Installation exceeds 10 days

Documentation is not provided

Unit is opened or modified
-
Improper installation or contamination is found
TERMS & CONDITIONS (ENFORCEMENT CLAUSES)
PAS liability is limited to the cost of the part only. Labor, downtime, and incidental costs are not covered.
All claims are subject to inspection and approval.
IN THE EVENT OF FAILURE
Customer must prevent further damage and provide all required documentation. The part must be returned for inspection.

Proper installation and oil system preparation are critical to turbocharger performance and warranty eligibility.
