IMPORTANT NOTICE
This warranty applies to re-manufactured engines supplied by Precision Auto Parts Group LLC (“PAS”) and is valid only for the original purchaser, for private, non-commercial use, and for the vehicle in which the engine is originally installed.
This warranty is non-transferable and is subject to full compliance with all PAS policies, including the Terms of Service, Warranty Policy, and Installation Guidelines.
PAS’s obligation under this warranty is limited, at its sole discretion, to:

Repair of the engine (if applicable)
-
Replacement of the engine
-
Refund of the purchase price (only if repair or replacement is not feasible)
Replacement remains the primary remedy.
WARRANTY COVERAGE (REMAN ENGINES)
PAS warrants that re-manufactured engines are free from defects in materials and workmanship, subject to all conditions outlined in this policy.
Coverage applies strictly to the long block and internal lubricated components, including:

Engine block
-
Cylinder head(s)
-
Crankshaft
-
Camshaft
-
Pistons
-
Valves and lifters
-
Internal oil pump and internal components
This is a parts-only limited warranty.
WARRANTY PERIOD
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice:

Warranty duration is 180 days from the date of delivery (strict rule)

Warranty begins on delivery date — no delay, extension, or exception
Any delay in installation or use does not extend the warranty period.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT (MANDATORY CONDITION)
To qualify for warranty coverage:

Engine must be installed within 10 days of delivery
-
Installation must be performed by a licensed or qualified automotive repair facility
-
Engine must be installed in the correct application
Failure to meet these conditions will result in voidance of warranty.
INSTALLATION CHECKLIST & PROCEDURES (CRITICAL REQUIREMENT)
All re-manufactured engines must be installed in accordance with:

This includes but is not limited to:

Correction of the original cause of engine failure
-
Flushing of cooling and lubrication systems
-
Replacement of filters, fluids, and wear components
-
Replacement of thermostat, belts, and service parts

Proper engine priming before startup
-
Verification of fuel, electrical, and air intake systems
Failure to follow required procedures will result in denial of warranty coverage.
INSTALLATION DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENT
The customer must provide:

Installation invoice from a qualified repair facility
-
Technician or shop details
-
Confirmation of completed installation procedures
Documentation must be submitted within 10 days of delivery.
Failure to provide documentation may result in claim denial.
BREAK-IN & INITIAL OPERATION REQUIREMENTS
Proper break-in is mandatory to ensure engine performance and longevity.
During the initial break-in period (first ~500–600 miles):

Avoid constant speed driving — vary engine RPM
-
Do not tow or apply heavy load
-
Monitor oil and coolant levels regularly
-
Perform initial oil and filter change after early usage
Failure to follow break-in procedures may result in damage not covered under warranty.
MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
The engine must be maintained according to:

Manufacturer-recommended service intervals

Proper fluid types and levels
-
Regular oil and filter changes
Failure to maintain the engine properly will void warranty coverage.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover failures caused by:

Improper installation or failure to follow procedures

Overheating or cooling system failure
-
Lack of lubrication or contaminated fluids
-
Pre-ignition, detonation, or tuning-related issues
-
Improper maintenance or missed service intervals
-
Use of incorrect fuel, oil, or components
-
External damage, collision, or misuse
-
Use in commercial, fleet, racing, or off-road applications

Installation in an unintended application
Such failures are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.
NON-COVERED COMPONENTS (ACCESSORY DISCLAIMER)
Attached accessories are provided for convenience only and are not covered.
This includes:

Sensors, wiring, and electrical components
-
Fuel system components
-
Intake and exhaust manifolds
-
Turbochargers, superchargers
-
Belts, hoses, and external accessories
Installer is responsible for transferring or replacing these components.
CLAIM PROCEDURE (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT)
In the event of a failure:

PAS must be notified within 5 days of defect discovery

No repairs, removal, or disassembly may occur without authorization
-
PAS must be given full opportunity to inspect and evaluate
Unauthorized work will result in void warranty.
CLAIM DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
All claims must include:

Diagnostic report from licensed technician

Supporting test results
-
Installation documentation
-
Maintenance records
Incomplete documentation may result in denial of claim.
INSPECTION & RETURN REQUIREMENT
For any claim:

The engine must be returned to PAS if requested

PAS reserves the right to inspect the unit
-
No claim will be approved without inspection
Failure to return the engine will result in denial of warranty claim.
WARRANTY RESOLUTION
PAS reserves the right to:

Repair the engine
-
Replace the engine
-
Issue refund (if replacement unavailable)
All decisions are made at PAS sole discretion.
WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS
Warranty will be void if:

Installation exceeds 10 days from delivery
-
Required documentation is not submitted
-
Installation procedures are not followed
-
Engine is modified, disassembled, or tampered with
-
Engine is damaged due to overheating, contamination, or misuse
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
PAS liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the engine.
PAS is not responsible for:

Labor costs
-
Towing or rental expenses
-
Downtime or loss of use
-
Any incidental or consequential damages
