IMPORTANT NOTICE

This Re-manufactured Transmission Warranty Policy forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of Precision Auto Parts Group LLC (“PAS”). By purchasing, installing, or using any re-manufactured transmission supplied by PAS, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this policy.

This policy governs all aspects of the transaction, including product condition, installation requirements, warranty coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, and dispute resolution. These terms remain enforceable regardless of whether a physical signature has been obtained.

RE-MANUFACTURED TRANSMISSION WARRANTY

All re-manufactured transmissions supplied by PAS are rebuilt units that have undergone inspection, reconditioning, and component replacement processes to restore operational functionality.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, for private, non-commercial use, and only for the vehicle in which the transmission is originally installed. This warranty is non-transferable.

Warranty coverage is valid for the duration specified on the invoice and begins from the date of delivery (no exceptions).

PAS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to repair, replace, or provide an equivalent unit in the event of an approved warranty claim. Replacement shall remain the primary remedy.

MECHANICAL PARTS WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover failures caused by conditions external to the internal transmission assembly, including but not limited to:

  • Improper installation or failure to follow required procedures

  • Failure to replace or flush transmission cooler and lines

  • Contaminated, incorrect, or insufficient transmission fluid

  • Overheating or lack of lubrication

  • Electrical faults, TCM issues, or sensor failures

  • Failure to perform required programming or relearn procedures

  • Pre-existing drivetrain or vehicle-related issues

Only failures directly attributable to internal defects will be considered.

COVERED COMPONENTS (INTERNAL TRANSMISSION ONLY)

Warranty coverage applies strictly to the internal mechanical components of the re-manufactured transmission, including:

  • Gear sets and shafts

  • Clutch packs and bands (automatic transmissions)

  • Internal pump and valve body (mechanical function)

  • Bearings, bushings, and internal lubricated components

All other components are excluded unless specifically stated in writing.

WARRANTY VALIDATION REQUIREMENTS

To maintain warranty eligibility, all of the following conditions must be strictly met:

  • Installation must be completed within 10 days of delivery

  • Installation must be performed by a qualified and certified technician

  • Installation documentation must be submitted within 10 days of installation

  • The root cause of the original failure must be identified and corrected

Failure to meet these conditions will result in voidance of warranty coverage.

NON-COVERED ACCESSORIES (PROVIDED FOR CONVENIENCE ONLY)

Re-manufactured transmissions may include certain attached components for handling convenience. These components are not covered under warranty, including but not limited to:

  • Sensors, wiring, and connectors

  • Solenoids and electrical components

  • Torque converter (unless explicitly included in writing)

  • External harnesses and switches

These items must be inspected, serviced, or replaced as required by the installer.

IMPORTANT WARNING

Proper compatibility, including gear ratios, electronic configuration, and system matching, must be verified prior to installation. Incorrect installation or mismatch may result in severe damage to drivetrain components.

PAS shall not be responsible for failures resulting from incorrect application or improper installation.

IN THE EVENT OF A FAILURE (CRITICAL REQUIREMENT)

Under no circumstances should the transmission be removed, disassembled, or repaired without prior written authorization from PAS.

The customer must immediately notify PAS upon discovery of any issue. Unauthorized actions will result in immediate voidance of warranty.
